To further aid the use of your World Text account we have recently added new features and centralised existing features to your Dashboard. These exciting new features are just the tip of the iceberg, soon you will be able to control all features of your account, sub-account and account users from the same place, with much more to come!
Summary of Dashboard:
My Account – This is a summary panel of your account, showing the account ID number, login username, account status, account type and if applicable your pre-pay balance in credits.
API Key – Displays the API key for use with the World Text HTTP REST API functions along with your account ID, also shown is your Secure ID for use with the World Text Email to SMS Gateway should you with to use the Secure ID functionality. In addition to this you can create a new set API Keys / Secure IDs, please be aware that this will immediately change both, so if you have a live service running you’ll need to update the credentials being used.
Configuration – Default Source Address is what will be used in the event that no source address is specified when using our HTTP REST API or the our Web Portal. Credit Low Warning Level is the ‘credit’ level at which we’ll automatically send you warning emails every 6 hours until you top-up your account. Login Password is the password you use to login to your account, this can be changed but we recommend using a strong password which includes letters (upper and lowercase), numbers and even special characters. If you are using the deprecated v1 of our HTTP API, please be aware that changing this password will affect your use of this version of the API.

Billing Email is the email address we’ll use to send invoices for pre-pay accounts (post-pay clients should currently contact us to change) and credit low alerts.
SMPP – This tab is only visible to accounts which have SMPP activated and a live SMPP account. SMPP Password is the password you use to bind your SMPP account to our platform, this can be changed but we recommend using a strong password which includes letters (upper and lowercase), numbers and even special characters. Please be aware that changing this password will immediately affect your SMPP account.
