World Text are pleased to announce a new feature of the original and first SMS Auto Responder, adding to our custom in-house developed SMSC. Available to all accounts to use for FREE, clients may now configure Opt-in and Opt-out rules to manage subscribers of the groups lists you have attached to your World Text SMS accounts.
Opt-out SMS
Correctly opting out mobile users who have made a stop request to you, from receiving marketing and update SMS from you is hot topic, and it’s essential that you stay compliant, not only on legal perspective but also not to aggravate your customers. In some countries if you don’t honour opt-out requests this can lead to *legal prosecutions.
Using keywords on a dedicated or shared short code, virtual number or VSIM and the World Text Auto Responder, special actions can be triggered to remove mobile subscribers numbers from groups attached to your World Text account. In addition to this an automated reply will confirm back to the user that their number has been removed from the corresponding group.
The process or removing the user from receiving further marketing and notification SMS, and also acknowledging that the removal has been carried out is widely known to be best practice and in some countries is *law.
Opt-in SMS
Never miss an opt-in opportunity again, automated addition to your marketing and notification SMS groups is quick and efficient, and again ensures you can remain compliant with best practice and *legal requirements.
