Keep you SMS secure using the World Text SSL SMS connection methods
We understand the need for clients who may be sending confidential SMS to connect to us using SSL SMS (Secure Sockets Layer), to ensure that the communications are encrypted when being submitted to the World Text SMSC.
SMS being sent for the purposes of one time passwords for two factor authentication, financial information such as banking alerts and payment reminders, medical alerts and any number of other confidential and personal information are among the many uses that might require that you have a secure route to our SMS platform.
World Text offers outbound SSL SMS via all our standard interfaces and APIs:
- HTTPS – SSL using RESTful HTTP API
- SMPPS – SSL using SMPP API (available soon, API documents to be updated)
- SMTPS – SSL using Email to SMS Gateway
- Web – SSL using our Communicator Pro cloud based SMS software
For those users doing two-way and inbound SMS there is the option to also receive these using SSL, simply point the SMS Auto Responder to your HTTPS URL.
